The therapeutic feeling when burning \u0026amp; filing them, is just out of this world. For the plain \u0026amp; simple reason of how simple the process is. A process I discovered very early in my burning journey. By Burning light layers over one another \u0026amp; simple filing lightly for guidance \u0026amp; deeper for texture \u0026amp; depth. Just beyond words how calming \u0026amp; centring Burning into blocks of wood is. Especially once you have acquired the skills to just Auto-Pilot \u0026amp; just do things in a way that creates the desired outcome. A piece of pure experiment, For I have never burned an Otter NOR Water (to this degree).PLUS, Splatted Beech is not the easiest to work with, due to it's grain \u0026amp; texture being so uneven. BUT, very much a positive outcome. The water effect tho, Right??? Just as simple of waving the blowtorch over a pallet knife, to get a smooth \u0026amp; gentle texture. Then some filing to add a little further depth of detail.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eAll 'n' All, Not a bad final result (Which from the artist is a challenge to say).
