About The Artist

About Me
From a Young age I have always enjoyed the company of animals and have admired their fascinating appearances and wonderful colours on TV.
I take that passion and try to turn it into something great, tho sometime they may not come out the way one may have planed. Over time gradual advancing my skills in crafts and finding that some crafts work and other not so much.
Then one day I came across Pyrography, that when it all change. Being able to take both my passion for natural and natural products. Then make something that will last a life time. Well, I thought where do I sign up. And here we are.

Where I started:
Starting in 2019, I would sit at the dinning room table with my Soldering Iron. Using offcuts Birch Plywood. Using my experience with drawing with pencils and trying my best to create something that half resemble the original image.
It was around this time, I was Diagnosed with my Autism. (I know a sob story, But this is relevant). Which mean a lot to me, but I always know there was something different about me.
But I realised while burning, that my unique was of processing information was being shown in the way I approached a piece. From choosing the image, looking at fur direction and the detail in the eye. To seeing patterns in the fur and developing skills to create desired effects and textures.
Hence why, in 2021 I started my Social media (Eventually Business):
Joshua's NeuroDiverse Designs.

Where I Am Today:
Today, I having a more permanent setup. Having a studio space, with more professional equipment. Ranging from a Razortip SL1 to being able to setup this Website.Working with a local printers , Now able expanding with Greeting Cards and Artwork Prints.
--------------------------------------------------
With the primary theme being the Savannah Grasslands. But my favourite part of a burn are the eyes, capturing the life and soul of a work within the eyes.
If the eyes don't work, the whole piece is not worthy.
--------------------------------------------------
Even from the moment I started with my soldering iron, It's never been about the money or fame. Its only ever been about creating works of art that express the way I see the world. Not because I am Autistic, but isn't that what all artist do. Share the way they experience the world in their own unique way.
--------------------------------------------------
Using only the best and local sawmills to hand picking every piece of wood (All within a 30 Mile Radius of the Studio). But also try my very best to keep as much packaging as Eco-Friendly as possible.

Summary:
So long story short, Animals and Pyrography are my biggest passions. I combined the two. Now I need space for more, so I decided to try and sell them to pay for more wood.
But if you were looking for something and not yet seen it, Please feel free to get in contact and I am more than happy to talk about a commissioner piece. There are no extra charges, only the wood and my time. Not penny is charged till you are happy.
