Even tho I lived in the countryside for 15 years, I have only ever seen a Fox in the real world a hand full of times, so It was most enjoyable to sit & admire this image while burning.

Considering how the grain of Splatted Beech is, I thought this piece may not come out with such detail & closeness to the reference photo. BUT, with all things considered, I can say I am very much happy with the result & hope to do a few more Fox Burns. Weather solo or part of a larger project.

It was that little cub that caught my eye, I knew once I saw it I had to burn this image. I knew exactly which Off-cut I would use too. So, that is how I can to doing this piece.
