The Pride Of Scotland + A Pyro Artist = Winter Body Ready.

A piece that is close to my heart. As, for 10 years of my life I would walk past field of deer & stags grazing on grass. BUT, I have never been to Scotland. A dream trip of mine.
So, for now I hand-craft an image I hope to see with my own eyes one day. The Pride of Scotland, The Highland Stag. Standing like a tree, Tall, Proud and Branches for antlers.

But that has to be the best part of a stag burn, The Antlers. The therapeutic feeling when burning & filing them, is just out of this world. For the plain & simple reason of how simple the process is. A process I discovered very early in my burning journey. By Burning light layers over one another & simple filing lightly for guidance & deeper for texture & depth. Just beyond words how calming & centring Burning into blocks of wood is. Especially once you have acquired the skills to just Auto-Pilot & just do things in a way that creates the desired outcome. BUT, also to learn new & "Better" ways of doing things.
